The season for sipping and socialising is almost upon us as Edinburgh Cocktail Week returns for its seventh year as the UK’s biggest cocktail festival, Friday 3rd – Sunday 12th October.

Once again we are transforming the capital into a cocktail lovers’ playground, with £5 cocktails available at over 100 of the city’s top bars, and a Cocktail Village at Festival Square filled with 24 pop-up bars, live music and delicious street food trucks.

What is Edinburgh Cocktail Week?

Apart from being the most exciting week of the year… Edinburgh Cocktail Week is a ten-day, city-wide celebration showcasing the very best of Edinburgh’s cocktail scene, mixed in with pop-up experiences, live music, events and street food.

We invite you to step out in style and sip your way around the city, discovering new tastes and venues, while creating wonderful memories with friends along the way. All you need to join in is a wristband.

What does a wristband get me?

Wristbands are valid for all ten days of the festival for £5 cocktails at over 100 top bars across the city. These cocktails have been crafted in partnership with premium spirit brands and are available exclusively for wristband holders.

A wristband also grants you entry to our infamous Cocktail Village at Festival Square. Inside you will find 24 amazing pop-up bars serving cocktails from £5, a live music, immersive spaces and mouthwatering street food trucks.

Where do I get a wristband?

Buy a wristband online then bring your confirmation email to the Box Office at the Cocktail Village at Festival Square and we will issue your wristband. Wristbands are available to buy on the door subject to availability.

The Box Office is open from Thursday 2nd - Sunday 12th October, 10am - 11pm daily (8pm close on Sundays).

You can collect weekend wristbands during the week. You can also collect your friends’ wristbands if you have their confirmation email for us to scan.

Where is the Cocktail Village?

The Cocktail Village is located at Festival Square on Lothian Road, directly opposite the Usher Hall.

It is the bustling social hub of Edinburgh Cocktail Week, best described as a clubhouse for cocktail lovers - entry is free with your wristband.

Inside there are 24 pop-up bars, each offering a minimum of two £5 cocktails within their menu. Plus live music, street food, immersive spaces, lawn games and entertainment.

Beer, cider, wine, prosecco, champagne, perfect serves and alcohol-free options are also available.

Are alcohol-free cocktails available?

Yes. Forty-five participating bars will offer an alcohol-free alternative to their cocktail. These venues are marked with a 0% icon here.

Alcohol-free serves will also be available from bars in the Cocktail Village.

What are Prestige Cocktails?

Our Prestige Cocktails category offers you the change to enjoy elevated serves created by the city’s top mixologists and award-winning bars.

Prestige Cocktails are £9 each with a wristband and are available at venues such as Panda & Sons, The Register Club, Lady Libertine, Nightcap, Lucky Liquor, Old Pal and The Devil’s Advocate.
