Edinburgh Cocktail Week 2021 Update

Please find below an update on Edinburgh Cocktail Week 2021 following the latest Scottish Government announcement.

The updated road map announced by the Scottish Government today (23rd February 2021) has not made it clear when festivals will be permitted again.

At this stage, we are still planning and hopeful for Edinburgh Cocktail Week to take place in October, however, we are unable to guarantee ECW will go ahead this year until we learn which tier Edinburgh will enter at the end of April and how quickly the vaccine rollout will allow restrictions on large festivals to be eased.

As we plan for October, we are also planning back-up dates, which we have secured for Spring 2022.

We do not believe in scaling back our plans and delivering a below par festival in October, just for the sake of it. The last thing we want to do is deliver a disappointing experience that doesn't meet our customers' expectations - everyone deserves to have an amazing, unrestricted day out with their friends after waiting all this time, and that is what we plan to deliver.

If we do need to postpone, we believe it will be worth the wait and will allow us to deliver ECW in its full format, with all the new and exciting features and collaborations we have developed during lockdown - plans that we cannot wait to share publicly!

If a postponement is required, all tickets will automatically transfer across to the new 2022 dates. But for now, we keep our fingers crossed for October. A further update will be published as soon as possible.

Thank you again for your patience and continued support.
